Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the US and Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. Her current job is with ESPN as a news anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bilingual since she was nine years old. It was a helpful talent that enabled her to get her first job working as an assistant to the producer at Univision in Miami and gave her the chance to work with the producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Then, her CBS station located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009, she moved to Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she began her news reporting on KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was used occasionally as a weather and sport anchor. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she has more responsibility. She reported on all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. The anchor also worked in the same role on Primer Impacto on UniMas Network, and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collins' parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born on November 1985. Also, she has an older sister. The family settled in Miami after moving from Mexico into the US. The couple divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. The summer vacation that she stayed with her sibling at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered a job. Antonietta had just graduated high school, but was already aware of her plans for what she would accomplish. In the end, she fell in love with the university. The university offered her an academic major. Following her graduation from high school, she made the decision to enroll at the university and major in Media Studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and the manager of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a part. They had a very close friendship. He inspired her to believe in herself and his passion in journalism was a huge influence on her. She, determined to fulfill his standards and never failed him.
